Have a Heart for Homeless Pets Supply Fundraiser- It breaks our hearts to know that there are abused, neglected and so many lost and broken souls out there. In February 2008, Animal Au Paws decided to launch Have a Heart for Homeless Pets to help raise money and donations for our less fortunate friends. We were able to raise over $2000 worth of pet supplies and 100 % of the proceeds went to FOHA. This year we are hoping for even more success and all of our proceeds will go to PAWS. It is especially close to home for us this year b/c Kim Larimer, one of our sitters, is the co-founder of PAWS Rescue and we believe whole heartedly in what they do.

Animal Au Paws was grateful to be included in Leesburg Today's Best of Loudoun People's Choice Poll for 2009. We tied for third in the Best Pet Services category. First place was awarded to a waste disposal company, second place was awarded to a kennel and we tied for 3rd with a pet grooming salon. That means we were the only pet sitting service among the winners. It's a true testament to the hard work of everyone at AAP and we are once again honored to be selected.

July 2009

Living the American Dream. Animal Au Paws was featured in the Loudoun Times Mirror with a story of how owner, Rosie Bundick, went from refugee to entrepreneur.

Leesburg Canine Country Club Jamboree- At Animal Au Paws, we believe in participating in pet related events to help raise money to help our furry friends. The proceeds for this event go to NoVa Spay and Neuter Clinic, a program of the SPCA of NoVa. After all, our pet kids love us unconditionally so AAP believes that we can return some of that love to the less fortunate.

2008

Animal Au Paws launches it's first ever Have a Heart for Homeless Pets drive. 12 local animal hospitals assist in being drop off stations for supplies.

2007

Animal Au Paws was honored to be named as one of the best pet sitting companies in Loudoun County by the Washingtonian Magazine. This was wonderful for us since we have only been in business for a short time so to be included as one of the elite meant that we were doing something right!! We love what we do and we are very pleased to be given this recognition.

October 2006

Barktoberfest. Animal Au Paws heard about Barktoberfest through a friend and we believed in what it represented so we participated by setting up a booth to help raise money for homeless pets of Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA). It's an annual event where local pet vendors participate and donate services and goods to benefit the many pets that need forever homes. It's a fun day and a great way to meet a lot of furry friends.
